Up date from SEEE Chair
We are delighted to announce that Andy Brady has been elected by the SEEE board to be our new Chair, taking over from John Chillcott.
Andy has been a Director of SEEE since the network was launched in 2005, and has extensive experience working with social enterprise and the wider third sector. Most notably he is the Director of 3rd Sector Futures at Anglia Ruskin University, where he is course leader for Charity and Social Enterprise Management. Andy's other experience includes teaching and coaching for Cambridge University and working with the Ariane de Rothschild Fellowship, an international social entrepreneurship project.
Andy said "It's a great privilege to take on the role of Chair. I hope to be able to demonstrate in practice my commitment to supporting social enterprise in our region, and continue the fine work SEEE is already doing, thanks to the work of its outgoing Chair John Chillcott, and our other directors, not to mention Elaine McCorriston. I want to improve our links with Social Enterprise UK and join with them in building our membership and making the East of England a great place for social enterprise to flourish."
The board would like to thank John for his work as chair and we are glad to say he will be continuing to serve as a director.
We are also delighted to welcome to the Board:
- Arshad Khalid, Director, Ethicological Limited
- Brigit Parker, Head of Communications & Marketing, CDS
